3. Buddhism  Buddhism was started around 2,500 years ago in India. It has about 350 million followers around the world.

4. Islam  Islam began in the early 600s and is the second largest religion with over 1000 million followers. It is more a way of life than a religion.

5. Hinduism  Hinduism has around 750 million followers around the world. Hinduism is about 4000 years old and is practiced by more than 80% of India.

6. Judaism  Judaism is over 3,800 years old and followers are Jewish. There are 12 million Jews and most live in the United States and Israel.
