8. “And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.” Ephesians 6:4 Illustration - young man had everything Love and discipline not bought with money

9. 1 Peter 3:4 “a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.” Meek spirit = not self will, calm, tranquil, at peace Riches cannot buy

10. Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death” 1 Pet. 1:18-19 - Redeemed  Not silver or gold  Precious blood of Christ Buy Back Set Free

11. Death dreaded “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment” Heb. 9:27 Dying men “So, now all is gone -….” “give half for six more months”

12. Luke 16:23 “in torments in hades” Pleaded for mercy Gulf separates Too Late now He could not buy his way out of Hades

13. “Riches profit not in the day of wrath, but righteousness delivereth from death” Pr.11:4 Cannot take riches with us “For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?” Mt.16:26
