Mancinelli - SCIENTER Key elements emerging from existing accreditation systems for training providers (1/3) Purpose –Mainly normative –Few cases focused on Quality Assurance (accreditation is a way to assure Quality) Initiator –Mainly top-down –Cases where Banks Association, banking schools and representatives of leading banks initiate the accreditation system Evaluation approach –External evaluation by a competent authority –Existing rules and nomrs

Finalisation of information collection – by end of February On the basis of such information, in-depth analysis and drafting of: –‘Map of the key players / stakeholders’ (D2.2) – by end of March –‘State-of-the-art report on the regulatory framework’ (D3.1) – by end of March –‘Overview and analysis of existing accreditation and certification solutions in use in Europe’ (D3.2) – by end of March
