1. YouTube & WIKI Part of our “23 Things” Staff Development Initiative This is a collaborative effort between library front line staff, collection development staff and admin staff with librarian input. We’ve developed a YouTube Cartoon Pilot Project that can be used as a vehicle to deliver new library web 2.0 tools - where the student lives. Geared at introducing a new library WIKI, and other student focused web 2.0 tools - through humor.

We decided that Episode 1 Should Just Introduce the Main Characters Matt - Narrator Standing opposite the front desk – looking through his cell phone camera says Matt we need your picture here (cartoon) Gerard - DJ Sent a BIO to Matt that describes his job, his work habits and a little bit about his work personality (and YES – Matt still wants to do the Cartoon) Meet DJ Brenda – LULU Sent a BIO to Matt that describes her job, her work habits and a little bit about her work personality Meet LULU Elaine – OFFRED Sent a BIO to Matt that describes her job, her work habits and a little bit about her work personality Meet OFFRED
