Some facts... 75% of the over 75 population suffer from chronic disease, with incidences expected to double by 2030 Demands on the healthcare system is increasing by 4% per year There are 800,000 people with dementia in the UK with numbers set to rise to over 1 million by 2021. This will soar to 1.7 million by 2050

9. Staff Development “It really is a win, win situation with this course – as a result, the Service Users receive more frequent simple nail care, our staff are further trained and developed and pressure on the stretched resources of the podiatry services are reduced”
