5.  That you may know His hope  That you may know His inheritance  That you may know His power

6.  What is this hope?  Acts 23:6 -- Then Paul, knowing that some of them were Sadducees and the others Pharisees, called out in the Sanhedrin, “My brothers, I am a Pharisee, descended from Pharisees. I stand on trial because of the hope of the resurrection of the dead.”

7.  Romans 8:24-25 -- For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what they already have? But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.

8.  1 Corinthians 15:19 -- If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are of all people most to be pitied.

9.  Ephesians 4:4 - - There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling;

14.  Romans 1:16 -- For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.

15.  1 Corinthians 1:18 -- For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

16.  1 Corinthians 6:14 -- By his power God raised the Lord from the dead, and he will raise us also.

17.  Ephesians 3:20-21 – Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.

18.  Our prayer is shaped by eternity.  We pray for spiritual insight.  Our prayers transcend the mundane.  We pray with the conviction of Spirit power.  We pray as those who have already inherited heaven.
