3. SP's Slide - Delivery of Au-Cu stores to Physics was going on smoothly, until, last Friday, ~1700, an eagle and a groundhog came around (the next, modern technology based - Lafontaine fable ?). The power dip generated a huge amount of work : * ~3500 alarms went on on Friday at ~1700 * RHIC beams were recovered only late OWL, Sunday morning, ~36 hrs later * We are in still the process of fully recovering – more in next presentations. - NSRL is running, - BLIP too. Program for the coming week : - Tomorrow Wed. 6 is Maintenance Day, 0700-1600. Access at experiments 0900-1500. STAR needs 4-6 hrs, PHENIX can do with much less - Wednesday next week, 13 June, is (last) APEX, 0800-2400. 3

5. MAINTENANCE, Wed. 6 June 0700 Secure Booster and AGS equipment as necessary for access. Begin Booster LOTO as necessary. 0800 Secure AGS equipment for LOTO as necessary. LOTO AGS prep for any needed access 0830 Dump RHIC, ramp all down to zero. Prepare for RHIC access- CA to most areas, HP surveys as necessary. STAR open at 0900. PHENIX on XA 1300 Begin RHIC sweeps as necessary. 1300-1500 Restore equipment after transfer switch tests. 1500 Tunnel secured, hysteresis ramp. Sweep exps 1600 Physics restoration
