19. The Life of St Demiana St Demiana was born to righteous parents She was the only child for her parents She asked her father to build a separate place for her to live there with 40 of her friends. They were praying, reading the bible and worshiping God all the time. The emperor asked her father to stop worshipping Jesus and worship the idols. Her father listened to the emperor When her father came back, St Demiana told him that he shouldn’t listen to the emperor, and not to be afraid of him. She told him we should only worship God alone. Her father went back to the emperor and told him that he worships God not the idles. The emperor was mad and killed her father.

20. The Life of St Demiana When the bad emperor knew that St Demiana was the one who convinced her father, he send her soldiers to ask her to worship the idles. St Demiana was brave, and she insisted on worshipping no one but God Finally when the soldiers failed to convince her to worship the idles, she was martyred with her 40 friends.
