2.  A driver who is not licensed or who has a revoked or suspended license. A foreign or international license is acceptable  A driver with more than 1 major violation or alcohol/drug violation within the past 3 years  A driver with more than 3 at-fault accidents or more than 4 accidents regardless of fault within the past 3 years  A driver convicted of a felony within the past 10 years

3.  Policies with all vehicles garaged out of state  Policies with any vehicle used for pick up or delivery of food, newspapers, cosmetics, or any other product  Policies with any vehicle valued over $150,000, operated by employees, used commercially, or that weighs over 10,000 lbs.

4. Coverage is not bound until the completed application has been signed by the applicant & the downpayment collected by the agent. Payment can be made with Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Echeck. 5.  Prior Insurance: Has the risk been insured for all of the past 6 months? If yes, then select the Bodily Injury limits the insured has currently. (Risks with no prior insurance ARE acceptable)  Length of time insured: Choose the length of time the insured has been with the prior carrier only, not how long insured overall.  Home ownership: If the insured owns a home or condo there is a discount.

6.  Advance Quote: Quoting 5 days in advance of binding qualifies for a discount  Full-time students with a B average or above qualify for a discount  Children of the named insured under the age of 25 away at school over 100 miles from home without a vehicle qualify for a discount

7.  Multi-policy: If the HO3, HO4, or HO6 is insured with Mercury there is a discount  Occupation Discounts: For named insured and spouse if applicable, select the industry and the occupation for each. The following occupations/status receive no discount: Homemaker, Unemployed, and Other Payment Plan: The Pay-In-Full plan and the EFT plan receive discounts.

8.  Vehicles over 20 years old when Comp or Collision coverage is requested  Vehicles that are not registered or co-registered to the named insured or resident relatives  Vehicles that are owned or leased to a partnership or corporation or have been declared a total loss  Vehicles that have been discontinued or foreign made vehicles that are no longer imported (Yugos, Daewoos)

10.  The MVR & CLUE reports must be ordered before submitting the application. Any MVR activity will prefill for the corresponding driver. The CLUE activity does NOT prefill. You will need to review the CLUE activity and manually add any pertinent claims for any drivers on the policy.  To avoid being charged for MVR’s, Mercury will need to write 70% of the MVR’s ordered
