3. 3 RPG MeetingMarch 13, 2009 CREZ GINR FIS Background –Since August 2007 ERCOT has put on hold generation full interconnection study (FIS) requests for projects that will interconnect to “CREZ” transmission facilities –Currently there are 14 studies on hold and 5 studies that would have been on hold had the moratorium started before August 2007 The Process Going Forward –ERCOT will remove generation projects from being on hold once both of the following conditions are met: The project’s interconnecting TSP has been identified by the PUCT final order in docket 35665 The project’s interconnecting TSP has a code of conduct in place at the PUCT

4. 4 RPG MeetingMarch 13, 2009 RPG Project Review Update Acceptance Letter in process for: –LCRA TSC Flatonia-Yoakum Project (Tier 3) ERCOT Independent Review of the Austin Energy Decker to Techridge 138 kV Circuit Relocation Project (Tier 2) is underway ERCOT Independent Review of the LCRA TSC Cushman-Highway 123 Project (Tier 2) has just begun LCRA TSC GPI-FM482-Parkway Project (Tier 2) is in Study Mode Centerpoint 2012 Northwest Houston Reliability Project (Tier 2) is in the Comment Period Comments on Sharyland ERCOT Southeast Loop Project (Tier 1) appear to be irresolvable by the RPG. ERCOT will take the comments into account as we perform the Independent Review
