2. All Year Groups Comenius Assemblies S1, S2, S3 and S4 pupils will be called down to the assembly hall today during period 1 and 2. The S4 pupils named below will be involved in the delivery of the assemblies, sharing information and their experiences from the Comenius projects that run in Bella. All Year Groups GSOS athletes contested the Scottish Schools road race championships Well done to 1 st year girls of Laura Ferguson, Neve McGuire and Morgan Findlay and 1 st year boys Lewis Elliot, Gary McPake and Scott Menzies from the hockey programme. All three girls ran very well, however the undoubted highlight of this opening race was a superb 3 rd place for Laura, just missing the silver in a driving sprint finish! In a close finish Lewis matched Laura’s individual bronze with Gary just behind in 4 th. Scott battled right to the end to claim 20 th and secure the silver team medal. East of Scotland Junior Badminton Champs (Edinburgh) Well done to everyone who competed. We had six titles across all age groups with Erin Waddell U13 girls doubles, Josh Apiliga & Adam Pringle U15 boys doubles, Jennifer Lafferty U15 girls doubles, Christopher Grimley U17 boy singles, Christopher Grimley & Sarah Sidebottom U17 mixed doubles and Christopher & Matthew Grimley U17 boys doubles! A Huge WELL DONE to our team of Neve Littlejohn, who secured a great 7 th overall, Lori Agnew(11 th ) Kirsten Forster (20 th) and Cara Baillie (31 st ) ran superbly to secure their first National title! In the o16’s girls we had Leanne Findlay 10 th, Jenny Bichan 17 th and Abbigail McInnes who packed very well as a team to secure our third team medal of the day as they took the team bronze!
