1. Summer School 2015 Savannah R3- All Schools Open!

2. Enrollment Figures AZ- 48, this is a much larger amount than last year! HE- 55, another large amount! JG- 147, they had a large number of kindergarten kids-36! MC- 350, the largest amount enrolled in 10 years! The first time 3 sections of each grade in K-2!! MS- 101, they had 65 future 6th graders attend!!! ●701 TOTAL IN K-8TH GRADE!!!

3. Parachutes are a big hit!!! Helena and MC used the parachute and had some fun!! Here is a picture of kindergarten students!!

4. Cooking Class in the afternoon.. puppy chow!!!

5. Cupstacking for 1st and 2nd!! They loved it!!

6. Science.. Fun in 4th grade!!!

7. City making with.. 5th grade Math!!!

8. Pool Noodle Fun An afternoon adventure class that had pool noodles as the theme for everything!!!

9. Water Day Fun!!! 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders enjoyed the many water activities that the teachers planned and played!!!

10. 2nd graders... Enjoy the garden! Gardens were growing at AZ and MC!!

11. SUMMER SCHOOL WATER!!! John Glenn, Helena, Amazonia, and MC all had some water fun!!

12. SMS 6th-8th Grade students studied math, science, reading, writing, social studies and spanish in the morning and enjoyed hands- on and enrichment classes in the afternoon.

13. SMS students learned about Oaxacan art with Mrs. Dreyer during summer school.

14. SMS students learned about the body and its organs/systems. They traced themselves and had to identify and place each organ. Great hands-on way for students to learn all about their body!

15. Summer School Stats... Last year 409 Chamber Buck packets were handed out to kids… (The number recorded before the last day was 489, but some students lost money in the last three days.) 468 CHAMBER BUCKS PACKETS WERE HANDED OUT!!!
