5. Change of Address Must be reported to the ISO to be input into SEVIS within 10 days of the change. 9. Taxes Tax year = January 1 – December 31 Tax Forms are available at http://www.irs.gov and in the ISO. You must have a Social Security Number to file a tax return (dependents must have SS# or ITIN). If you are paid in the U.S., tax returns must be filed by April 15 of the following year. If you are not paid in the U.S. you are not taxed in the U.S., but Form 8843 must be filed by June 15 of the following year.
