2 Georgia O’Keefe born on November 15, 1887 second of seven children, grew up on a farm in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. As a child she received art lessons at home, and her abilities were quickly recognized and encouraged by teachers She was an art teacher before she became a full time artist.

3 Georgia O’Keefe Famous for paintings of flowers She made them very large so they filled the whole canvas She painted many kinds of flowers She loved New Mexico She died at the age of 98
