3  Classroom teacher provides differentiated instruction for students to achieve expected academic and behavioral goals.

4  In addition to receiving general education, the students receive services such as speech therapy, occupational therapy, and counseling, etc.

5  The AIS teacher comes in the classroom to assist the classroom teacher. The class is broken up into groups. The AIS teacher teaches skills while the classroom teacher teaches content. The lower elementary receives one period per day and the upper elementary receives two periods per day.

6  The students meet with the S.E.T.S.S. in the resource room for 45 minutes per day to work on reading, math or both.

7  This setting has two teachers, a regular education teacher and a special education teacher who co-teach. The class population is general education students and special education students. The students do not know who has an IEP and who does not.

8  The students receive all their services in the classroom. There are different class sizes in a self contained classroom. For examples: There is 12:1:4. This self contained classroom is for students with severe handicapping conditions who needs intensive special education instruction.

9  This placement is for students who are in need of instructional services while they are confined to their homes because of medical, orthopedic, or serious emotional condition. Students in k-6 receive a minimum of 5 hours of home instruction per week. 7-12 grades receive the minimum of 10 hours per week.

10  This placement provides a structured, nurturing environment for severely emotionally students and for students with Pervasive Developmental Delays (PDD). The psychosocial educational needs of the students are met in this setting.

11  This placement is for students who are at risk being in their home environment. The students live and go to school this setting.

12  Students who are hospitalized for chronic or acute medical, orthopedic and or psychiatric conditions receives education services while they are hospitalized.
