3 Introduction You will be developing reading, writing, and listening communication skills to create proposals related to strategies to do the right thing for people, as you serve others in a way that reflect Christian values that may also lead to the improvement of the world around you while fostering unity through diversity.

4 Scenario: You are a fourth grader who has been given the chance to conduct an educational campaign with other members of the Marymount community (preschoolers, elementary students, and third and fourth grade teachers)in order to share with them proposals related to strategies to do the right thing for people, as we serve others, in a way that reflect Christian values and may lead to the improvement of the world surrounding us.

5 Scenario: You are going to be conducting your campaign via sharing what you wrote in your comic books, in order to persuade Marymount students to value the service given by Marymount´s Helping Hands, its maintenance workers.

6 Introductory Performance Plan your comic book to communicate creatively your proposal on conducting an educational campaign in order to persuade Marymount students to value the service given by Marymount´s Helping Hands, its maintenance workers. Use the four types of sentences to brainstorm your ideas and identify each with a color code key map.

7 Introductory Performance GROUP 1 VISUAL GROUP 2 AUDITORY/VERBAL GROUP 3 KINESTHETIC/TACTILE Brainstorm the ideas you would include in your comic book, through any visual support of your choice such as pictures, charts, webs, Power Points, etc. Brainstorm the ideas you would include in your comic book, through any auditory or visual support of your choice such as, a paragraph, sentences, recordings, advertisement, a song, jingle, etc. Brainstorm the ideas you would include in your comic book, through any kinesthetic or tactile support of your choice such as a puzzle, collage, a dramatic representation, puppet show,etc.

8 Intermediate Performance You are a fourth grader who is creating a descriptive comic strip that reflects how honesty is critical in the quality of the service that maintenance workers give to us. You need to highlight how much we need to value the honest service of these helping hands.
