A comparison of two cars I would like to own: a Ford Mustang and a Chevrolet Camaro Presented by: Zach Lewis Project 15 – Car Purchase 4/30/2012

Ford Mustang Chevrolet Camaro VS.

Let’s look at the Ford Mustang The Ford Mustang is a reliable, long surviving, and efficient car. It is one of the most affordable American Muscle cars. The look of the car is very sleek and makes it look very modern compared to many cars.

Safety features of the Mustang  Anti-lock brakes  Stability control  Front and Side impact airbags  Pre-tensioners  Security System The safety rating of the Mustang is 8.4 / 10. Below are some of the important safety features this car has:

Technology and Entertainment Features of the Mustang The Mustang is a car equipped with lots of great technology and entertainment. Listed below are some of its features:  XM Radio, Traffic and Travel Link  Active Park Assist  Adaptive Cruise Control  Blind Spot Monitor These features are important to me because I like to know where things are around my car that way I am sure not to hit anyone. Also I have difficulty parallel parking which makes the parking assist a great addition. The extra alternatives to classic radio make the drive a lot more bearable.

Specifications of the Mustang The Mustang is a 2 door coupe with maximum seating capacity for 5. The engine sizes vary from 3.7L V6 to 5.4L Supercharged V8. It has 550 horsepower at the most and 305 horsepower at the least. It comes with either an automatic transmission or manual transmission.

City vs. Highway Miles Per Gallon of the Mustang City MPG: 19 Highway MPG: 29 Average Price per Gallon of Gas: $3.65 Average Mile per Week I Drive: 300 Total Weekly Gas Bill: $1095

Now let’s look at the Chevy Camaro The Camaro is a car that is just as famous as the Mustang but it is made by Chevy instead of Ford. The look of the car is different and it has a different feel to it.

Safety features of the Camaro The safety rating of the Camaro is 9/10. Below are some important safety features this car has: Anti-lock brakes Front, Side and Overhead airbags Stability Control Pre-tensioners Traction Control Crisis Assist

Technology and Entertainment Features of the Camaro The Camaro is a car equipped with lots of great technology and entertainment. Listed below are some of it’s features:  Hands-Free Calling  Turn by Turn Navigation  XM Satellite Radio  Parking Assist  iPod Integration  USB Port  Sun Roof These features are important to me because they make driving more enjoyable aside from the fact that the Camaro is already a fun car to drive. Also, the USB Port and iPod integration means I can listen to what I want instead of the radio.

Specifications of the Camaro The Camaro is a 2 door coupe with maximum seating capacity for 4. The engine sizes vary from 3.6L V6 to 6.2L Supercharged V8.
