2. How does it look?
The giant panda is a black and white bear that has a body typical of bears.
It has black fur on its ears, eye patches, muzzle, legs, and shoulders.
Giant pandas have molar teeth.

3. Size
The giant panda stands up two to three feet tall on all four legs and can reach up to four to six feet long.
The male pandas are larger than female pandas.

4. Food A giant panda is a herbivore.
A giant panda eats 99 percent bamboo.
It eats 20 to 40 pounds of bamboo a day.
It also eats sugar cane, rice gruel, a special high fiber biscuit, carrots, apples, and sweet bamboo.

5. Interesting Facts Giant pandas mate in spring.
After they mate, the female will be pregnant for 100 to 800 days.
A giant panda can climb to 13,000 feet.
