4  Data NOT continuous  Used to COMPARE descriptive data (like amounts or percent)

5  Data NOT continuous  Usually data is show as “part of a whole” or as percentages  Categories add up to 100%

6  Heating a pan of water over a time period  Shows the number of students earning A’s, B’s, C’s in Biology class  Measuring the percent of each gas in the air  Shows the percentage of allowance spent on different things  Show height change over 16 year period. LINE BAR PIE PIE LINE
