4 Jellyfish  Jellyfish are found in all oceans  Some live in freshwater as well  They look like little umbrellas  They are usually bright colored  They are often transparent meaning you can see through them  Nearly invisible to the human eye  They are NOT a fish  They do not have brains MAIN MENU MAIN MENU

5 Sea Turtle  They live in all oceans except for the Artic Ocean  They prefer warm water  Usually stay in shallow areas  They eat crabs, seaweed, jellyfish, and shrimp  Can hold their breath for over 30 minutes  The fastest sea turtle swims at over 20 mph MAIN MENU MAIN MENU

6 Dolphin  They are believed to be very intelligent  They are meat eaters  Bottlenose dolphins are the most common and well known type  Female dolphins are called cows  Male dolphins are called bulls  Young dolphins are called calves  Use a blowhole on top of their head to breath  Commutate by clicking, whistling and other sounds MAIN MENU MAIN MENU

7 Puffer Fish  Can inflate into a ball shape to evade predators  Have elastic stomachs that they fill with water  Can blow themselves up to several times their normal size  Some have spines on their skin to ward off predators  Most contain toxic substances that make them foul tasting  Their toxin is deadly to humans MAIN MENU MAIN MENU

8 Shark  They do not have any bones in their body  Some sharks remain on the move their entire life  They have great hearing  A baby shark (a pup) is ready to take care of itself the moment its born  Great whites are the most deadly animal in the sea MAIN MENU MAIN MENU

9 Whale  There are two types of whales. Baleen Whales and Toothed Whales  Whales swim up to 30 miles per hour  Some whales can stay under water for up to 90 minutes  They do not sleep  Some whales sing  The Blue Whale is the largest animal in the world MAIN MENU MAIN MENU

10 Octopus  They are boneless creatures  Their life span goes from 6 months to a couple of years  The live in holes or crevices of rocks  They breath through their a muscular funnel  They vary in size  They have three hearts  They hunt at night MAIN MENU MAIN MENU

11 Stingray  Distant relatives of sharks  Swim by flapping their pectoral wings that makes them look like they fly  Bottom feeding creatures  They have eyes on top of their heads  Use their sense of smell to find their dinner  Not usually aggressive MAIN MENU MAIN MENU
