3 SMART Goal: Whole School Students at Kelsey Virtual Elementary School will make an average 10% proficiency gains on Reading scores according to the Standard Test Scores by May 2013.

4 SMART Goal: Whole Class Kelsey’s 4 th grade class will make an average 10% proficiency gains in Reading according to Standard Test Scores by May 2013.

5 SMART Goal: Individual Student Alex will raise his proficiency in Reading by 10% according to Standard Test Scores by May 2013.

6 Specific The “specific” part of the goal is the area of academics or behavior you hope to improve “Students at Kelsey Virtual Elementary School will make an average 10% proficiency gains on Reading scores according to the Standard Test Scores by May 2013.”

9 Measurable “Measurable” is the amount of gain accurately measured with consistency for all students by a quantitative data producing assessment. “Students at Kelsey Virtual Elementary School will make an average 10% proficiency gains on Reading scores according to the Standard Test Scores by May 2013.”
