17  Discussion board and platform for collaboration.  Free (if educational) and easy to set up and maintain.  Create as many wikis as you desire.  Teacher creates a wiki for the students in the classroom.  Teacher creates a wiki for all parents to inform them.  Teacher creates a wiki with each parent individually (private).  Teacher creates a wiki for collaboration with other teachers.

22  Students can edit the wiki and learn from one another.  To align with Common Core expectations, the teacher can pose a problem and students can post how they will approach the problem. Students exposed to a variety of approaches.  Parents are informed of content, assignments, & expectations.  Parents have a platform to ask questions for clarification.  Teachers have access to resources they may miss without a wiki.  Teachers develop partnerships with children, families and professionals.
