7. An Equal Opportunity University eLII Funding: Courses Multiple courses to be funded at $25,000-$35,000 for a one-year period. These are start-up or support funds for new or newly converted/created courses. Synchronous and asynchronous hybrid learning courses are eligible.

8. An Equal Opportunity University eLII Funding: Courses Applications from high-volume, required courses are encouraged. Think about assessment and sustainability. Deadline: 5 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 1, 2014

9. An Equal Opportunity University eLII Funding: Faculty Skill Development Two tracks: Online Learning and Blended Learning Approximately 33 participants per track, funded at $4000 award per participant (or $6000 if admitted to both tracks). Full-time and part-time faculty instructors.

An Equal Opportunity University eLII Funding: Faculty Skill Development Applicants or recipients of eLII, UKAT, or DL course development grants, or experienced in online instruction now or in past 2 years. This round is Part II of the first cohort; the deadline for the second grant round’s cohort will be in March 2015. Deadline: 5 p.m. on Monday, June 30, 2014

11. An Equal Opportunity University Reminders Funding requires that the course or program be engaged in appropriate university approval processes. All proposals must be submitted by the Dean’s Office of the applicant college using the official cover sheet with Chair and Dean signatures.

Flipped classrooms with lecture component converted to an e-format, with a transformed accompanying in-class experience. Large lectures converted to an e-format and made available online for qualifying undergraduate students.
