5 All these things help make up your identity

6 So what else makes up your personal identity? Groups or clubs that you belong to… What your interests or talents are - film, dance, playing the piano.... What things are important to you… What your hopes are for the future… Which people are important to you… Your religion… The languages that you speak…

7 What you value also makes up part of who you are. Time for another game – Let’s play ‘Thumbs up, Thumbs down’

16 British values Democracy Britain is a democracy – this means that the people in Britain vote

17 The rule of the law In Britain we have a police force who make sure people do not do the wrong thing and break the law – this means that we are safe.

18 Individual Liberty In Britain, as long as we do not break the law, we can live as we choose to and have our own opinions about things.

19 Mutual Respect We might not always agree with other people, but we try to show respect for their thoughts and feelings.

20 Tolerance of those of different faiths and beliefs In Britain we accept that other people might have different beliefs than ours and they may believe in different religions.

22 Core Value Follow Instructions and school rules – follow our laws in school…be honest and responsible at all times..
