3 Gen 50:20 "But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.

4 Gen 50:24 And Joseph said to his brethren, "I am dying; but God will surely visit you, and bring you out of this land to the land of which He swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob."

7 You Meant it for Evil …but God Meant it for Good  King of Egypt tries to wipe out Israel Made their lives bitter with bondage Instructed the midwives to quietly kill the boys So Pharaoh commanded all Egypt Every son born to the Hebrews is to be cast into the River

8 Faith under Fire  Midwives feared God  Moses parents were not afraid of Pharaoh command (Heb 11:23)  Moses was not afraid of the wrath of Pharaoh (Heb 11:24-27, Acts 7:21-24)

9 Faith under Fire  Moses, a man of faith…and action  He saw an Egyptian beating a Hebrew – his brethren  He defended him – Giving up all the pleasures  Fled to Midian

10 Faith under Fire  What can I learn from this kind of faith under fire?  Wait on the Lord. He has a plan. It will be accomplished.  Moses cannot accomplish it his way  Hebrew people must wait and see God in action
