2. Maintain your NJHS status Keep your gpa at 93% or above – you get an extra point for each PreAP class No detentions or referrals No grade in any class lower than an 80% Complete 12 or above service hours Attend all meetings This will be checked after each 9 weeks

3. Service Hour Opportunities Church Fall Fun Fests Environmental Club- Help Mrs. Abdelkarim clean out the community garden for service hours after school today or September 17! Show of hands (which one?). Mow grandma’s yard Babysit without pay We will have something organized once a month

4. ACO at Market Street Market Street: Sunday, September 20 th Sign up outside of Mrs. Kahn’s room- K hall or outside this room. 12-4 P.M.- you MAY sign up for more than one hour Arrive early Bring money if you want to purchase food Wear a Curtis shirt or dress funny (crazy hat, socks)

5. Crayola collection Bring Markers Don’t throw away your dried out markers- bring your old, dead markers so Crayola can recycle them! Not just Crayola markers- any markers! NJHS will collect in the building – We will need volunteers to do the collecting. Vote to spend $200 to buy collection containers for each teacher

6. Christmas Cards for Soldiers Curtis will purchase the cards – Let’s vote to spend the money

7. Remember Sign up for Remind 101 You must be at every meeting, if you have a conflict and it is not possible for you to come, tell Mrs. Kahn. You can’t get paid for doing service hours- 12 SERVICE HOURS ARE DUE OCTOBER 22 nd ! Don’t come without them!

10. Next meeting OCTOBER 22 nd. 12 hours are due at this time. You can have more than 6 hours from the summer but only 6 of those count for the 12 hours. We will have an award at the end of the year for the top two members with the most service hours.Your name goes on a plaque in the office.
