4. Connecting Research Presentation: Business Communications in Arab- speaking Countries Divide students in groups of 3 students. Each group will be assigned an Arab-speaking country listed in the book, Kiss, Bow, or Shake Hands (Egypt, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia). Their task will be to design a five- minute PowerPoint or Prezi presentation on their assigned country to be presented to the class. To assist in their research, students need to use the Presentation Organizer. Their notes for the presentation will be turned in for evaluation. Also, distribute the Presentation Rubric to the students to use as a guide in preparing for their PowerPoint or Prezi presentations. Review the rubric. Give students 2 – 3 class periods to prepare their presentation. Each group will give their presentation to the class. Distribute another copy of the rubric to the class and students will use the rubric to evaluate the group’s presentation. As the teacher, use the rubric to grade the presentation.

5. Summarizing Intercultural Dimensions of Business Communications Summary Select two cultural dimensions or communication styles and explain how these dimensions or styles can cause challenges between Arab-speaking cultures and the U. S. culture in a business setting. Describe possible ways to address these challenges.
