2. What Is A Works Cited? An alphabetical listing of sources used in a body of work.

3. When Should You Make One? When writing a paper or doing a project, you may conduct research to find information, pictures, quotations, data, or even ideas to assist you. When you borrow the material, you must give credit to the originator by citing your source.

4. Why Should You Have One? If you “borrow” from a source without giving credit you are stealing the material. This is called plagiarism and it is against the law!
