1. Jungle Adventure

2. One day Les was at his home in Ontario when he decided to go to Costa Rica. He flies his small plane to a village then kayaks to a huge island. He begins to explore the beach when suddenly his kayak washes away into the ocean. He realizes most of his supplies were in the kayak. He looks through the supplies he has left. He has long pants, swimming goggles, three pens, and a multi-tool. Les is not used to the extreme heat since he’s from Canada. He looks up and sees a group of coconuts hanging from a tree. He grabs a coconut and cuts it open with his multi-tool. The coconut milk is good for now but he will have to find a source of fresh water eventually if he plans to survive out on the massive island for long. In such heat he isn’t worried about shelter at all but he knows the weather could turn on him very fast. So he builds a platform out of driftwood to keep him off the ground. Once he does that he has to decide whether to look for food or build a fire. A: Food B: Fire

3. Les goes and finds another coconut tree and notices the coconuts have already sprouted. He cuts them open and finds a big treat. The liquid solidified and turned into a hardened piece of fruit. Continue

4. Les collects firewood from the surrounding area and makes a big pile. His lighter was washed away with the kayak so he has no choice but to use his glasses lens to magnify the suns rays onto his tinder bundle. After about 20 minutes of trying he finally gets a flame Continue

5. After that Les goes into the ocean to find a conk shell to boil water in. Once he finds a good one he goes back to his camp and attempts to boil the water inside the shell. After half an hour of boiling the water he notices the water had turned slightly green. He wonders if he should still drink it. A: Drink Don’t Drink

6. Les drinks the green water. Afterwards he feels he kind of sick. Continue

7. Les decides he better not drink the green water. But he starts to feel sick from dehydration so he ends up drinking it anyway. Continue

8. Now that his thirst has been quenched he takes a big stick and sharpens one end to make a spear. He then rips the elastic part of his underwear off and attaches it to the dull end of the spear. Now that he has a harpoon he heads towards the ocean to try to catch some dinner. He throws on his goggles and goes underwater. While in the water he spots a baby shark headed towards him. A: He punches the shark B: He swims away

9. Les punches the baby shark right in the throat and it gets scared and swims away. Continue

10. Les swims as fast as he can back to shore. After waiting for 10 minutes he heads back out to try fishing some more. Continue

11. Les continues to fish for the next two hours. Finally he gets one. A 10 pound black fish. He cooks it up on his fire and eats it all. The next morning Les thinks maybe he could walk back to safety by going through the jungle behind him. But he isn’t positive. If he takes the chance of going into the jungle he could get even more lost. A: Head into the dense jungle B: Stay put

12. Les heads towards the jungle, very nervous about what might be lurking within. Continue

13. He sits on a log for about 3 hours then realizes he better head towards the jungle anyway. Continue

14. Once in the jungle he finds a plant called water-vine. He knows that there might be some liquid inside. So he cuts it open with his multi-tool. But he misses and slices his finger open. He uses what’s left of his underwear to make a bandage. After hours of trudging through the jungle he decides to make camp in a slight clearing. Suddenly he trips over a root and drops his torch in a puddle. Then he realizes he only brought two coconuts with him. He eats one and saves the other for later. The next morning he has to decide whether to keep looking for a way out of the jungle or find some food. A: Food B: Find a way out

15. Les surveys the surrounding area and finds a small salamander running on a rock. He picks it up and eats it. Continue

16. Les walks for another day looking for a route to safety but doesn’t find one. Continue

17. After walking for so long Les begins to overheat. So he rests for a little bit. He begins to think he’ll be stuck there forever when he hears a strange noise. It was a helicopter! He looks up and sees a big police chopper flying over. He desperately tries to signal it but it doesn’t notice him and it flies away. After such a long time in the jungle he feels very sick. 18. The next day he keeps wandering onwards towards the dense jungle. He feels extremely dehydrated so he cracks open his last coconut. Les looks down and sees a small stream flowing. He figures it has to lead to the ocean so he follows it. About an hour later he sees a big building in the distance. He keeps walking and finds a beach full of people. Continue

19. He runs towards them overwhelmed with joy. He asks one of the people to call an ambulance for him since he is very dehydrated and sick. After all that he decides he wants to go back next year. The End
