2  To provide sufficient information to the master electrician and crew to enable them to hang and circuit the lighting equipment for the entire production

3  Mechanical Drawing  Shows where instruments should be placed  Scale  ¼” = 1’ or ½”=1’  Shows relation of lights and scenery

4  Legend – shows what symbols mean

5  For cross referencing with other paperwork  Determined by  Hanging Position – ie. first electric  Position relative to the other instruments on that pipe  Note: both 1 st and 2 nd Electrics will have repeating numbers

6  Lettering  Legible  Allow for rapid execution  Singe-Stroke Gothic  Uppercase
