4 Almonds  Acreage increased  Additional acreage came into production  If water allocations continue next year, there could be an increase in yields

5 Fresh and Processing Tomatoes  Acreage down, BUT not due to lack of water availability  Market price dropped & growers opted for crops with greater returns

6 Cantaloupes  Planted acreage was up  Tonnage was up  However, production value decreased, a function of market demand

7 Cotton… A Reflection of Water  Acreage continues upswing for 2011
