2 Aim of the study To describe the ”median” European hematologist, and variations To make an inventory of existing and planned CME credit systems in Europe To prepare for an EHA-based CME credit system

3 Methods Inquiry form sent to national representatives in 16 European countries, fall 2001 A second round sent out during fall 2002, and a third round during spring 2003 –Description of specialist training –Guidelines for continuous hematological education –CME system –Future directions
