2 General Assembly Meeting – SA Session | Crete Oct. 2014 Observations, archiving and provision of data Variables the service activity is based on Meteorological, wave field and surface oceanographic parameters Oceanographic parameters (T, S,O 2, currents ) at 20, 50, 75, 100, 250, 400, 600 and 1000m Seabed (1670m) sensors for Tsunami detection and deep oceanographic observations Passive Acoustic Listener (PAL) providing sound signal classifications for further analysis (rainfall, waves, mammal detection, background noise, etc.) Upgrade on seabed observations includes addition of pCO 2, CH 4, turbidity and pH sensors Data archive Pylos-Southern Ionian DO Web site address: www.poseidon.hcmr.gr Data access Open data access policy User access through registration. Login, password authentication required Daily monitoring of data usage Pylos (Observatory 15)

3 General Assembly Meeting – SA Session | Crete Oct. 2014 Services provided during the first year Near real time data are available online plus time series plots (15 days window) through www.poseidon.hcmr.gr Near real time quality controlled data are also available on a daily basis through MyOcean Med Insitu TAC portal (netCDF format) Historical quality controlled data are available through both the website (ascii,.xls format) and MyOcean Med Insitu TAC portal (netCDF format) The EMECO tool is not used for product preparation/publication Pylos (Observatory 15)
