2 Introduction  Canada is a national holiday celebrating the anniversary on the July 1 st.  On Canada Day three colonies united into a single country called Canada within the British Empire. Inderpreet Gill 2

3 Languages  In Canada we have 2 official languages which are: English & French.  Canada has a very diverse and multicultural society who speak many different languages.  Other languages spoken are Punjabi, Spanish, Chinese, Portuguese, German, and Italian. Inderpreet Gill 3
