3 T’filah Kevah and Kavanah Kevah – the literal meaning of a prayer text – Students get routine practice with the weekday liturgy – Students begin to understand the flow of a worship service – Students grasp the core thematic content of each prayer Kavanah – intention and interpretation of prayer – Students have the opportunity to connect prayer to their own lives – Students help the Religious School Community create intention and meaning in a worship environment – Students gain comfort with prayer leadership
