Play and perform in solo and ensemble contexts I can sing in the Gospel Choir confidently I have not volunteered but I’m willing tomorrow on Thursday I can sing solos confidently and in choir I wanting to sing a solo all on my own. And it will take me a week and in choir I joined in the middle of nowhere and I learned them all. I can remember all of the words to the songs Use and understand staff and other musical notations I understand and can compose using visual notation Appreciate and understand a wide range of live and recorded music drawn from different traditions and from great composers and musicians I can describe the sounds in a composition I can describe the form and structure of a composition

5 7 th January 2015 LO; To to practice logging into LGFL and sending a email,To log in to soundation and make a composition. Today I think I made a jolly good job of logging in to lgfl and soundation I had loads of fun. I made my own account but did struggle putting my username but lgfl was easy.

9 Gospel In gospel we learned jump, colours,hold on to your faith rather be sunshine.We had 2 different sides altos and sopranos and every week we have COMPETITION TIME and my team lost, altos won at the end we heard Erenalp beat box and everyone learned a valible lesson.

10 gospel This is me and most of my friends In Gospel, we had to practice and then we had a lunch break then we performed our performance and went home.

Is when you don’t remember the lyrics to the song or I can’t go to a high pitch.

16 Musical Form What are the different parts of music? (Add your own definitions) –Verse: a verse is the part of the music that always changes and normally starts off the music –Chorus: The chorus is a bit never changes –Bridge: The bridge only comes once in the song. –Excellent definitions! 22 My password is ……….. Today in music I created My password which is p*****I21and my username is sk8****. I did my list sequencer we had to create our own peace of hip hop music. I had to make music out of numbers like 2 was Drum + Bass and you could make our own music out of it. Also I had to match a layer of rounds, duet, solo, music with accmediment I managed to get them all correct. Peace is a homonym with piece. A piece of music is spelt PIECE. Peace on earth is spelt PEACE. Please correct. Thank you for creating your account and adding a picture. However, the list sequencer was part of the extension and not the main activity. 23 20 May 2015 LO :To describe the Signature of a song. During the lesson we listen To 8 songs we had to See if they were ¾ or 4/4 we saved it on the Ipad because the Laptops weren’t working

25 24 June Dynamics Dynamics is volume in music it’s from Italy and so is this ‘’forte’’ which mean loud and ‘’piano’’ which mean quiet. To be more advance we learned the word ‘’metzo’’ which means medium and dimmer is ‘’demidiendo’’ and louder is ‘’quesendo’’ and that’s all we learned. Then we also did an extremely exciting quiz with everything to know about dynamics we logged on to smart note which took a long time to load and when we finshed we saved on the X file PDX.

27 24 June 2015 We learnt about dynamics, and did a quiz about it right here.

28 Crescendo and diminuendo On the 1 st of July we all learnt new 2 words crescendo means getting louder and diminuendo means getting dimmer.

29 End of the year We did a summary of what we learnt and what we did like a assessment. Next year I what like to be in violin club and recorder because Courtney recommends it a lot and samba keyboard and piano also are likes and our dislikes. In year 6 I want learn the samba, keyboard, recorder and violin.
