11 SMSA needs to focus on assisting the states to implement the NHTSA Motorcycle Safety Guidelines. Provide support for all program areas and bring key agencies together. SMSA members can use these resources to implement a comprehensive motorcycle safety program. SMSA Focus

12 Encourage states to complete a NHTSA Technical Motorcycle Safety Assessment. Encourage states to do an annual Motorcycle Safety Self-Assessment. Encourage states to measure and evaluate their programs. SMSA Focus
