3. FAMOUS PERSON CRISTIANO RONALDO  C.Ronaldo picked up the FIFA Puskas Award this evening at the FIFA World Player Gala 2009 for scoring the best goal of the year. Scored goals by Andres Iniesta (Barcelona), Fernando Torres (Liverpool) and Michael Essien (Chelsea) were also awarded..The award was presented by George Weah and the widow of the late Ferenc Puskas, Elisabeth Puskas. The goal that earned C.Ronaldo the hardware was that scored with Manchester United against Porto in the 2009 Champions League quarterfinal.

4. SPORT ROGER FEDERER  2009 is successfully year for the Swiss tennis player, Roger Federer. In 2009 he won his record title – 15 from the Grand Slam tournaments. Now he is known as the “best tennis player ever”. For his 15 title, he must defeat one of the best tennis players in the world, such as Robin Soderling and Juan Martin del Potro in the courts of French Open, “Rolland Garros”.

5. SPORT LIONEL MESSI  Barcelona and Argentina star player Lionel Messi yesterday won the 2009 FIFA Player of the Year Award at the FIFA World Player Gala in Zurich, Switzerland. Messi was runner-up last year when the then Manchester United star Ronaldo won the award. The 22-year-old was last month voted the Ballon d’Or winner, an award given to Europe’s best player.

6. POLITICS POLITIC SHANGEN VISA  The final and most important decision for the annulment of the visa regime for the Schengen zone countries was made today in Brussels. Citizens of Serbia, Macedonia and Montenegro will no longer have to wait in queues before European embassies to get visas.  The decision was announced by Sweden, which presides over the EU. Lars Freden, Swedish Ambassador, pointed out that this was a result of a hard work between the EU and Macedonia, and it showed what could happen when they worked together.”
