3 NATIONAL GALLERY NATIONAL GALLERY  One of the most important and famous art galleries of the world  Situated in Trafalgar square  Keeps over 2300 works of art, from 1250 to 1900 among which we can remember Van Gogh's Sunflowers, Botticelli's Venus and Mars, Constable's The Haywain, Rubens‘ Samson and Delilah, Da Vinci's The Virgin of the Rocks  Arts colletions are considerated public patrimony, for this reason the entry is free

4 BRITISH MUSEUM BRITISH MUSEUM  The British Museum is the oldest, and one of the largest museums in the world  Designed in the Greek revival style  The British Museum is home to over seven million objects illustrating and documenting the story of human culture from its beginning to the present

5 BUCKINGHAM PALACE  Built for the Duke of Buckingham in 1703  Is the official residence of the sovereign and the largest "working" royal palace remaining in the world  Buckingham Palace is a setting for state occasions, royal entertaining and base for all officially visiting heads of state, and is a major tourist attraction  Every morning at 11.30am there is the famous “Change of the guard”

6 PICCADILLY CIRCUS PICCADILLY CIRCUS  Is the centre of London’s entertainment world  Five major roads converge here  There are a lot of theatres and boutiques  At the centre of the area there is the statue of Eros

7 LONDON EYE LONDON EYE  The British Airways London Eye has had a great deal of success since opening in the year 2000.  is the world's highest observation wheel offering passengers amazing panoramic views of the capital.  It stands 135 metres high and you can see 25 miles away

JAMES’S PARK  St James's Park with its royal, political and literary associations, is at the very heart of London.  Bands give concerts twice a day at weekends during the summer.  Three royal palaces skirt St James's Park. The most ancient palace is Westminster, now known as the Houses of Parliament.  St James's Palace is designed in the Tudor style

9 TOWER BRIDGE TOWER BRIDGE  Tower Bridge is a bascule bridge in London, over the River Thames.  It is close to the Tower of London, which gives it its name.  In the two towers takes place The tower bridge Exhibition which illustrate its history
