10 Administrative Canons Employee Benefits – Pension / Retirement Clergy – 18% of compensation incl. housing – $200 or more per month in compensation for three or more consecutive months from the same employer – Post Retirement service – special rules apply Lay (1,000 hrs. per year / 20 hrs. week avg.) – Defined Contribution (5% + up to 4% match) – Defined Benefit (9%) Delayed payment will effect retirement eligibility!!!

Diocesan minimum is 75% of single premium of BCBS HD plan. (Premium is $487 per month 2014) Parish may provide higher benefit if for all Clergy / Lay parity to be achieved by 1/1/2016 2018 “Cadillac” Tax possibility Enrollment through Diocesan Administrator Open Enrollment October 31 – November 21
