22 Guidestar Strategic Plan Mission Mission The Minnesota Guidestar Board provides strategic direction and advice for the statewide application of advanced technology and information systems in transportation to save lives, time, and money, to enhance security and to protect the environment. The Board serves as a catalyst for innovative partnerships and provides resource investment advice to achieve desired outcomes. Vision Vision Minnesota’s citizens, businesses and visitors will benefit from the application of ITS to the state’s transportation system. Minnesota’s citizens, businesses and visitors will benefit from the application of ITS to the state’s transportation system.
