2 Limitations Resilience – Religious objection to using the BDII for service discovery so only one message broker is hardcoded. No failover as designed by message broker network of brokers. Definition of jobs – ARC CE accounts for everything that is successfully authenticated and authorised even if it never reaches a batch system – This results in zero cpu and zero cores jobs.

3 Recovery – If publishing fails then a user-provided script is used to recover from archived data – If publishing fails then data is never archived and so cannot be recovered. – A reported case of garbage collection cleaning up the archived data before it could be republished.

4 WLCG Support As WLCG Sites outside Scandinavia increasingly use ARC CE should WLCG coordinate the capture and reporting of requirements. Not just for accounting.
