6 Gracious Praise God Because He Is Gracious: 146:1-5 trust save “Praise the L ORD. Praise the L ORD, O my soul. I will praise the L ORD all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live. Do not put your trust in princes, in mortal men, who cannot save” (Psalm 146:1-5).

20 Good Praise God Because He Is Good: 146:7-9 “He upholds the cause of the oppressed and gives food to the hungry. The L ORD sets prisoners free, the L ORD gives sight to the blind, the L ORD lifts up those who are bowed down, the L ORD loves the righteous. The L ORD watches over the alien and sustains the fatherless and the widow, but he frustrates the ways of the wicked” (Psalm 147:7-9).

21 Good Praise God Because He Is Good: 146:7-9  Psalm 34:17-18: “The righteous cry out, and the L ORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The L ORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”  Psalm 56:8: “God collects our tears in a bottle and records them in his scroll.”

22 Good Praise God Because He Is Good: 146:7-9  Psalm 72:12-14: “For he will deliver the needy who cry out, the afflicted who have no one to help. He will take pity on the weak and the needy and save the needy from death. He will rescue them from oppression and violence.”

23 Good Praise God Because He Is Good: 146:7-9  Psalm 147:2-3: “The L ORD builds up Jerusalem; he gathers the exiles of Israel. He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”

24 Good Praise God Because He Is Good: 146:7-9 “In all their distress, he too was distressed” (Isaiah 63:9).

25 “Hey, World, Open Your Eyes and Behold God!”
