National Strategy The National Strategy for Survivors of Childhood Abuse, SurvivorScotland strategy aims to raise awareness of childhood abuse and its long term consequences, improve services and enhance the health and wellbeing of survivors of sexual and all other forms of child abuse.

It contributes to the ‘Healthier’ national outcomes: We live longer healthier lives We have tackled the significant inequalities in Scottish Society We have improved the life chances for children, young people and families at risk

SurvivorScotland Childhood abuse happens to women and men from all backgrounds and walks of life. Most of us will know someone who has been abused whether we realise it or not.
