5 Who do we want to teach? Teaching Age Range War Survivor will be teaching high school students and 14+ age gamers who are interested in World War II. What Characteristics will be taught? Leadership skills. History of the invasion of Poland, battle for Stalingrad, and the Allied invasion of France.

6 What do we want to teach? What will they be learning? Players will learn the history and tactics of the 3 key battles of World War II. What will be the specific Goals? The specific goals will be to teach them about the tactics of the battles and facts. We also want the player to be entertained. Learn Leadership skills.

7 How Do We Want to Teach Players? What is the Learning metaphor that can support the learning Objectives? Player will learn leadership skills and the history of the three main battles of World War II, the invasion of Poland, battle for Stalingrad, and the Allied invasion of France.

8 Description of War Survivor Narrative Description of the game plot. Learning tactics of the war during loading screens and after battles. Goals of the game Defend or attack a city. Complete objectives to win the battle. Combat will include ground vs aerial, ground vs ground, and aerial vs aerial.

9 Description of War Survivor Factions Axis and the allies. Battles Beginning of the war will be invading Poland. Second battle will include the battle for Stalingrad in the winter. Third battle will be the Allied invasion of France.

10 Narrative Description of Learning Activities Beginning of War Survivor Introductory cut scene. There will be a tutorial on how to control tanks, planes, infantry, and the basics of the game. During War Survivor The player will take control of a German fighter and destroy Polish Fighters defending the city.

11 Narrative Description of Learning Activities Continued Once all enemy aircraft are destroyed take control of ground attack planes and take out the defenses around the city. Some defenses remain because some anti- aircraft destroys the ground attack planes. Take control of a tank and destroy the remaining defenses around the Polish city.

12 Narrative Description of Learning Activities Continued Anti-tank guns are blocking the way into the city, so the player will take control of a soldier and take out the anti-tank gun crews. With the soldier, take control of the city by taking out the remaining resistance. Once the town is secure, the battle is won. A battle result screen will be shown. Information will be shown before 10 questions are displayed to be answered.

13 Narrative Description of Learning Activities Continued After Playing War Survivor The player will be educated in the key battles of World War II. Have leadership skills. Will have enjoyed playing the game. Have the desire to play the game again.

14 Evaluation What will be the evaluation approach We will be able to evaluate players how well they complete the objectives(Defending, and Attacking) and asking questions about the battle played and information displayed.

15 Learning Objectives Perquisites? There will be 10 questions asked after the battle results. Answer the questions correct, the player will receive bonus credits to purchase equipment, tanks, planes, weapons, etc.

16 Customers Customers will PC and console based. Customers will be international Multiple language support. Educators who teach history. Gamers who are interested in learning about history. Customer Needs To be educated. To enjoy playing War Survivor.

17 Customers Continued Fulfilling Needs by: Teaching them the history, tactics, and facts about the invasion of Poland, battle for Stalingrad, and the Allied Invasion of Poland. Having an open world game and having the ability to play with a friend. Failing Needs by: Players may skip or not read the educational parts of the game. May not have fun because it is not their type of genre.
