6. Today you wil be sightseeing around Central London. Take a seat and relax. Well,...here you can see Piccadilly Circus. It is the meeting point of six main streets. In the middle there is a famous statue of Eros. It was intended to represent the Angel of Christian charity, not Eros the God of Love. A colourful and international crowd of young people gather permanently around the fountain. At night Piccadilly Circus is a blaze of colour from the huge animated neon advertisements.

The world`s first was the Metropolitan line with 30,000 passengers taking an opening day ride in March 1863. The Underground now consists of 11 lines with 273 stations.
