How should I structure my investigation?
It is important that you present a well organized report and the follow this structure; Location of study/background information Investigation question Issues that arise from the investigation Research/data collected – evaluation of data and effects of the question investigated Conclusion (including future scenarios)
5
Look at the examples What questions do you need to ask in order to answer the question? Look at the examples provided to help with your questions
6
In your work you should include:
Information based on maps, tables, annotated diagrams and photographs (these do not count in your 800 word limit) What maps, graphs or diagrams do you think you could use?
7
You should: Use information and ideas from books, magazines, newspapers and websites. However, it is important you do not copy or make use of anyone else’s work without acknowledging where it comes from. You must provide references to show where it comes from; in the same way, if you want to quote what someone has said you must make it clear it is a quotation, credit the author and give reference in a list at the end of your work.
