8. We wrote letters to Ivan’s parents explain why he ran away. Some of our letters are displayed outside our room.

9. Some questions you could ask your child….  Who is Ivan?  Why did Ivan run away?  What sort of person is Ivan?  Where is the story set?  Why does the village not like winter?  What challenges does Ivan face?  What do you predict will happen next?
