3 3.1 Attitude Is Important Attitude: Is your outlook on life.
Is reflected in how you respond to people and events. Drives your behavior. Can attract others to you. Can signal others to avoid you. Chapter 3

1. You control only what you think. 2. Attitudes can and do change over time. 3. Your attitude affects others. 4. Attitudes of others affect you. 5. Attitudes are unique because they are developed as a result of emotion. Chapter 3

Says to others, “I can achieve success.” Is liberating. Helps you achieve goals and attain success. Builds greater inner power and strength. Empowers you to succeed faster and more easily. Helps you see the glass as “half full” instead of “half empty.” Gives you more energy. Enables you to overcome difficulties and move on with your life. Inspires and motivates others.
