7 The recent review of NOS in HSC and CCLD is a key component in achieving the strategic aim of the SSSC and our UK partners in having 'a skilled workforce with the skills, knowledge and values to deliver safe, high quality and professional services that promote public trust and confidence' Feedback from the feasibility study indicated the sector considered it ‘ feasible and desirable ’ for merging SVQ qualification structures The proposals will provide greater consistency across adult and children/young people sectors and greater flexibility for individuals wishing to move between sectors The NOS review has provided greater number of common standards between HSC and CCLD which would facilitate these proposals Rationale
